Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce Committee List

Agriculture
The Ag Committee focuses on the relationship between agriculture and business.  They assist with events that create networking opportunities between business and agriculture.  The Ag Committee organizes the Franklin County Fair Parade.  The Ag Committee meets as necessary.

Ambassadors
The ambassadors are the official welcoming committee of the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce.  The Ambassadors provide Ambassador Calls to deserving businesses.  They also host the Quarterly Coffee which are held the first Friday of March, June, September and December.  The Ambassadors assist with Operation Thank You.  The committee meets the third Thursday of every quarter (February, May, August, November) at 7:30 am and as needed. 

Education Committee
The Education Committee promotes a relationship between business and education.  They assist with organizing a youth leadership development program/event for high school students designed to acquaint students with the community to encourage young people to remain in the area.  The Education Committee also works with the schools to encourage a relationship among the middle school and elementary level also.  The Education Committee meets as necessary.

Marketing Committee
The Marketing Committee focuses on marketing the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce to members, non members and the community.  The Marketing Committee is also created the buy local campaign, named GO 5.  They incorporate chamber services and products that tie into the GO 5 Campaign.  The Marketing Committee meets the fourth Monday of each month.

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee focuses on membership management.  They organize membership drives, focus on membership retention and new membership.  They promote value added benefits to members, non members and the community.  The Membership Committee meets the second Monday of each month.
