Agriculture
The Ag Committee focuses on the relationship between agriculture and
business. They assist with events that create networking
opportunities between business and agriculture. The Ag Committee
meets on an as needed basis.

Ambassadors
The ambassadors are the official welcoming committee of the Hampton Area Chamber
of Commerce. The Ambassadors provide leadership and personnel to
support new and current business owners in the Hampton area, as well as
organizations and churches. The Ambassadors also assist with
Operation Thank You. The committee meets the third Thursday of every
quarter (February, May, August, November) at 7:30 am, or as needed.

Business Network
The Business Network committee conducts monthly or bi-monthly meetings to
provide Chamber members the opportunity to share information and hear
presentations on topics and issues of importance. This committee is
responsible to organize the speakers and topics for each
networking/educational meeting. The committee will also focus on
membership retention by maintaining membership strenght. The
Business Network committee meets the third Wednesday of every month at
7:30 am, or as needed.

Diversity Committee
The Diversity Committee discusses issues of race, class, gender, ability, and sexual orientation, among others. This committee advises and assists the Chamber
Board of Directors on actions, activities and programs that will create a
welcoming community for everyone. The Diversity Committee meets the
forth Wednesday of every month at 7:30 am, or as needed.

Membership:
Education Committee
The Education Committee promotes a relationship between business and
education by targeting students and young professionals. They assist
with organizing a youth leadership development program for high school
students designed to acquaint students with the community to encourage
young people to remain in the area. The Education Committee will
also work with the schools to encourage a relationship among the middle
school and elementary level also. The Education Committee meets on
the forth Thursday of every month at 7:30 am, or as needed.

Retail Committee
The Retail Committee exchanges ideas, suggests and sets retail promotions,
including setting holiday hours. They provide educational,
promotional and networking opportunities to the retail membership.
The Retail Committee also focuses on promoting the importance of local
shopping. The committee provides ongoing suggestions of ways to
educate citizens and business owners the great impact of buying local to
support economic stability. The Retail Committee meets the second
Thursday of every month at 7:30 am, or as needed.
